"What's up with Tech?" is a technology news podcast produced by two guys from the Midwest. The hosts of the show, Tim Fisher and Jake Kerber, are independent technology consultants. In their day-jobs, both focus on the development of web applications for various industries. However, they also spend time delving into any other areas of technology that happen to grab their interest. Since they are not tech journalists and they don't live in Silicon Valley, they tend to be a little more in touch with the "real" (non-super-geek) world.
The purpose of the show is to give other technology enthusiasts (geeks and non-geeks) an idea of some of the latest developments in the tech arena. This could include reviews and opinions of consumer electronics equipment and gadgets, ideas on technology-related projects (e.g. setting up a home network or theater), interesting news on technology-related companies, information on forthcoming hardware and software, the latest and greatest in the world of gaming, or recent breakthroughs in science and technology.

We're glad to be back and thank you to all of our listeners for your patience!

In this episode, we spend a fair amount of time clarifying some points from our first show that we realized in hindsight we had completely glossed over. Don't worry, though, we still find time to delve into Windows Vista and to complain about the Iowa Microsoft Class Action case that's in the process of being settled.
